Slot Recovery helps an eligible Wix Bookings appointment business offer a cancelled, still-bookable appointment to customers on its consented waitlist. The service includes a site widget, bounded automated workflow, email offers, and a Wix dashboard. It does not include customer-specific code, manual data mapping, classes, courses, or custom delivery channels.
Customer responsibilities
- Maintain an active Wix account, Wix Bookings, eligible appointment services, and required app permissions.
- Provide accurate service settings and a current consent policy version.
- Publish a lawful visitor notice and obtain explicit consent for opening alerts.
- Keep business, tax, cancellation, booking, and refund rules accurate in Wix.
- Do not submit sensitive free text or use the app for unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, or unsolicited messaging.
Automated actions and limitations
The owner authorizes routine, reversible automation after readiness and current free or Premium plan access are verified. An offer does not reserve a slot. Another customer may book first, an email may not arrive, or a Wix, API, or provider outage may stop the workflow. Slot Recovery does not guarantee revenue, delivery, booking, attendance, or uninterrupted availability.
“Recovered” means an offer-attributed booking whose payment and attendance were both verified from available Wix facts. It is an operational metric, not an accounting or legal conclusion.
Fees, cancellation, and refunds
The free plan supports 10 current waitlist registrations at a time. Premium is available at $19/month or $199/year, with no free trial, and is purchased through Wix. The Billing, Cancellation, and Refund Policy describes the free limit and forms part of these terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not limited.
Data and intellectual property
The site owner retains rights in its business and customer data and grants only the permission needed to provide the service. The operator retains rights in Slot Recovery software, documentation, and branding. The owner may not reverse engineer, resell, interfere with, probe, or use the service to violate another person's rights.
Suspension and termination
Automation may be disabled when entitlement, consent, permissions, safety, or provider state cannot be verified. The owner may cancel through Wix and may request deletion through the authenticated dashboard. Uninstall stops new work and triggers the operational-data deletion path.
Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond these terms. Liability is limited to direct, proven loss up to fees paid for the affected service period, except where the law does not permit that limitation. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
